Our History

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) was founded in 1952 in Lagos, Nigeria. We are a Bible believing church with a vision to spread the Word of God to the ends of the earth. The General Overseer of the church is Pastor Enoch Adeboye. RCCG believes strongly in church planting and it has about 40,000 churches/parishes in over 198 nations of the world. Presently, there are established missions of RCCG in many African countries, as well as Europe, Asia, the United States, the Caribbean, Canada, South America and Australia. Our goal is to pursue this vision until every nation in the world is reached for Jesus Christ our Lord.
